MacKay Residential School Gathering Inc. held a gathering and a reunion of former residential school students of MacKay Indian Residential School at Dauphin Mb. on long weekend of August 2022. The MRSGI held healing circles for the residential school survivors. In addition there were presenters on workshop. Also there were volunteers who provided counselling to those required someone to talk to based on triggering of memories during the gathering at the residential school. All residential school survivors ate meals together and had time to visit with each other.
