The m.s.I. Foundation (the 'foundation') a public foundation under the income tax act is incorporated under a special act of the province of alberta and is exempt from income taxes. The income of the foundation is to used for the purpose of fostering and supporting research into any aspect of the provision of medical and allied health services to the people of alberta and the promotion of matters of health in the interest of the people of alberta.
