The Association conducts agricultural research and extension in north eastern Alberta resulting in innovative sustainable and profitable farming practices for producers in the area. Every year LARA conducts crop forage and livestock research in small plots and on field scale. As well LARA puts on workshops and tours to provide educational opportunities to farmers.
