In its own words
Each year labrador students write plays about their communities and came to happy valley-goose bay to perform them. In turn artists attend from as many disciplines as possible to give workshops and give the students hands-on experience with art forms they may not be familiar with. Teachers access the workshops and return to their classroom with new ideas more information and a greater appreciation for the arts. The festival is run by a volunteer board and many committee members. The local community is involved as artists and students are billeted with local families.
