The kootenay doukhobor historical society is a museum nested on a beautiful historic setting on the banks of the columbia river near the original settlement of 1908. Books craft items music and films are available for purchase in the village. There are also display artifacts for customers to browse while visiting the museum. The doukhobor discovery center is located in castlegar bc.
