The society maintains and develops the kohan reflection garden a no-entrance-fee park in the village of new denver. The society has a continued relationship with the nikkei interment memorial centre. There is co-ordinated maintenance of the garden with approximately 80 volunteers and in-kind support from the village. Hosted one wedding and three performances of shakespeare by the shore.
