The acquisition training and placement of service dogs to support people facing physical neurological or mental health challenges living in southeastern ontario as well as canine assisted intervention (cai) dogs. The programs also include continued handling support to service dogs recipients and their support people. K4paws relies significantly on the 24hour/365 days a year contribution of volunteer puppy raisers who raise the puppies from 8 weeks old until they are placed at between 18 and 24 months of age.
