Ongoing programs: we obtain non-perishable food from reclamation companies donations and food drives. The food is sorted and stored then distributed to our member agancies on a fair share basis. Member agencies are food bank/cupboards etc. That provide food to needy invididuals in the city of kawartha lakes. Other activities include promotion of awareness and its impact. We also purchase/grow and distribute perishable food including fruit and vegetables to enhance nutritional value of food available in local school breakfast programs and for families served by our member agencies.
