In its own words
Kawartha food share acts as a warehouse distribution centre for the city and county of peterborough. We provide food to 38 local agencies who operate food banks and agency food cupboards and meal programs. Over 8 000 people use the agencies each month. We also assist over 50 schools with their breakfast food programs and provide emergency food when needed. We also work with the community to provide volunteer opportunities for youth in our community.
