The funds are to be used for the purposes of: 1) providing financial assistance for students to enable them to enter or complete graduate or post graduate studies in engineering at the university of toronto or michigan technological university. 2) providing funds for research in electrical chemical metallurgical or mining engineering. During each period 75% of the funds provided are awarded to the university of toronto and 25% of the funds are awarded to michigan technological university
