In its own words
Jabez blanket ministry provides 'backpacks of hope' (blankets teddy bears and school supplies) for orphans living in orphanages in poverty-stricken countries around the world via working with several north american mission organizations - (see the list on form t1236). We encourage canadian involvement in providing the backpacks of hope especially in the creation of the hand-made warm woolen brightly-coloured jabez afghan blankets which serve such a practical functional use of keeping the children warm.
