The auxiliary adds to the comfort and welfare of the patients at the invermere & district hospital & other health care institutions by providing funds for patient comfort items and purchasing medical equipment. Scholarships are provided to local students pursuing health care related education. The auxiliary donates to other qualified donees to provide medical equipment and services to the community.
