The foundation's purpose is to raise funds to help meet community healthcare needs not funded by the government. The interlake-eastern health foundation relies on donations from individuals organizations and businesses as well as from monies raised during fundraising events and campaigns. These donations augment funding for quality healthcare for the benefit of all who are served by the interlake-eastern regional health authority.
