Hôpital de mattawa hospital is a small rural community hospital servicing a bilingual community. The facility operates 19 beds including acute care and complex continuing care. Other services including a 24-hour emergency department and other outpatient services. The primary source of funding is the provice of ontario. However the hospital is the beneficiary recipient of community-related fundraising and donations which are used to enhance programs and acquire equipment.
