The school focuses on teaching newcomers to canada including refugees how to read english. Educational assistants assisted with children’s behavioural problems with their learning. The school offers morning snack and lunch therefrom employing a part-time cook other part-time staff to administer this program. The students participate in swimming dance art lessons and volunteering in addition to regular curriculum. These students do not function in larger school environments and asmall setting of our school better meets their needs.
