To promote and preserve ukrainian cultural traditions in contribution to the development of canada's culture. To educate the public in the origins and development of ukrainian performing arts and to encourage understanding and appreciation by canadians of ukrainian cultural traditions. Programs include singing ukrainian songs at venues and events throughout the province of manitoba. Also recording ukrainian music and song and engaging visiting singers and music directors to obtain new repetoire for the ensemble.
