As a 'hospice without walls' volunteers provide support assistance and advocacy for clients who have received a life-limiting or terminal illness and/or those who care for them under the supervision of a registered nurse. Bereavement support and public education also fall within our mandate. In excess of 1200 visiting volunteer hours were realized / 6-week bereavement support courses were held / advance care planning sessions were presented / practical caregiver training sessions were ofered.
