Victim crime/tragedy support advocates respond to inquiries requests and cmoplaints upon the request of the rcmp community agencies or victims. Court support: advocates provide information regarding criminal charges upcoming court dates and court orientation as well as court accompaniment referrals: advocates provide referrals for victims to counselling crisis lines shelters medical examiner's office and social services/child welfare. Hinton district victim services service: 8 volunteers who are on call 24/7 and 8 volunteer board members and 3 staff members.
