We operate as a food bank providing food household items and clothing to people/families in need. We have a backpack program in september providing school supplies along with backpacks for those in need. We provide easter and christmas hampers with a turkey or ham with the trimmings but unfortunately our local co-op has stopped the turkey bucks program. This has affected our organization because we have to purchase the turkey and hams instead of recieving free turkeys and hams using the donated turkey bucks from co-op members.
