It is with a knot in my heart that I write this letter. After more than a year of procrastination and a lot of soul searching and talking to friends and colleagues the time has come to close down Hearst Pet Finders Rescue. In the past 5 or more years the task of finding volunteers foster homes and donations has become a heavy burden not to count the painful passing of three of our beloved council members (Yolande Aubin Rita Aubin and Micheline Bolduc).
