To preserve artifacts and history of the way of life of the 20th century in the rural community of the Quinte area. The mandate of the Hastings County Museum of Agricultural Heritage is to recognize and preserve our agricultural heritage for future generations by displaying and demonstrating artifacts in a living environment which will emphasize their educational and nostalgic value and educate the public in the changing ways of agriculture. Heritage Village was opened in June of 2008 as a way to incorporate rural town and country life
