In its own words
We host five general meetings each year to promote awareness and appreciation of the history and heritage of hamilton mountain and the surrounding area. Society members participated in doors open hamilton heritage comes home and several other functions where history is represented. We support other like-minded groups and iindividuals by publicizing their efforts and publications at our meetings in our newsletter on our website and on our facebook page. We have also installed a prominent permanent mural of a historical and cultural event on a building.
