In the fall of 2022 we held auditions as we expanded the program from one opera to two. In august 2023 after 2.5 weeks of rehearsal we presented 8 public ticketed performances of two operas (la jolie parfumeuse and serse) at the lillian piercey concert hall and two public educational lecture recitals at the halifax central library with free admission. All rehearsals and most of the performances were held at the maritime conservatory of performing arts. Hsof was supported by the work of 5 volunteers working front of house at our venues.
