In late 2024 the Ministry of Health approved the merger of Peterborough Public Health with Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit effective January 1 2025. Programs and services for Peterborough Public Health restored after the prior years of some service disruption due to COVID. Continued active fundraising for programs to support local initiatives.
