The primary objective of the charity is to work within chatham-kent in advancing the interests of the economically disadvantaged by constructing or renovating homes and providing interest-free loans to enable individuals to pay for such homes or renovations. The prospective homeowner contributes 'sweat equity' rather than a normal down payment and carries a non-interest bearing mortgage on the home.
