The society is a fish hatchery that provides a program of salmonid enhancement for southern vancouver streams in particular the goldstream river just north of victoria bc the society also assists local educational institutions in increasing the awareness of the value of the salmonid resouce. The society collects broodstock sperm and eggs and rears juveniles in a variety of tank. The fry are then released back into a number of river streams.
