In its own words
Volunteer base of 12 the friends of the rockingham church maintain and keep open the rockingham church a heritage building c. 1875 to promote public interest and education in the history of the church and the local area. We hold an annual celebration/service to further this aim with an invited speaker addressing some aspect of local history. We send an invitation/newsletter to previous donors and attendees and publicize the event in local media and online. Our website is an ongoing project intended to make historical information more available.
