To support the Ottawa Public Library by raising funds to cover cost of programs services and materials for library branches. Friends of the Ottawa Public Library (FOPLA) are strong advocates for the Ottawa Public Library and take every opportunity to raise awareness of its programs and services to the general public. FOPLA is over 99% volunteer-run and operates with the help of more than 240 Ottawa community members.
