Friends in Sportfishing continues to provide free boating and fishing trips in eastern Ontario for people with special needs. In 2024 we provided these experiences to 1 481 seniors youth and persons with special needs from three locations: Dows Lake Pavilion Parks Canada Long Island Locks on the Rideau River and the RCMP Conference & Recreation Centre downstream of the Long Island Locks. Demand for our services continues to increase by those organizations that work to improve the quality of life experiences for their clients through harmony with nature.
