In its own words
Freedom trails provides a therapeutic horseback riding program and ground lessons for people of all ages with a disability. There are over 20 volunteers helping out weekly over a 10-week period in the summer. We accommodate individuals all ages in ground sessions with the horses and groups outside of the 10-week session. We also provide programming for groups of residents from local care facilities. We provide lessons on our riding simulator during 10-week winter sessions.
