In its own words
During the year the association sponsored regional events for secondary school children prior to a national final which provided the students with the chance to apply specific skills in the fields of mathematics sciences and engineering in the making and operation of robots. Awards and trophies were provided as well as sponsorships for local and international competetitions in the student robotics field. It is hoped that as a result of its efforts the association will encourage students to pursue further studies and careers in the fields of mathematics science and engineering.
