The association serves first nations schools by promoting quality education and maximizing the available resources in order to improve the quality of education of first nation students. The association directs its energy and resources towards supporting the work of first nation schools in developing and implementing culturally appropriate meaningful and high quality education programs. The association will work to provide a forum for networking communication and laison among first nations schools other education institutes and federal provincial and other governments
