The purpose of the society is to uphold the rights of children and youth by promoting strengthening and defending children's rights as set out in the united nations convention on the rights of the child by: conducting research and analysis of child well-being in bc and relevant public policy; disseminating research reports and briefs to public officials and the public; and convening dialogues presentations and workshops on child and youth rights and public policy.
