RESCUE PROGRAM: Finding Them Homes runs a very successful program to help First Nations communities in the James Bay area manage the over-population of dogs and improve community safety by rescuing stray and surrendered dogs. We partner with the communities to transport dogs by air to Timmins from where volunteers drive them south to Barrie. In 2022 over 120 dogs were rescued from these communities.
