In its own words
Festival wind orchestra is a concert band with approximately 40 members (amateur musicians). We rehearse weekly in preparation for concerts/musical education in various venues in toronto (including senior homes churches concert halls high schools). We perform with guest artists at different concerts and are proud to support young canadian talent. We continue to expand our 'music for life' program of working with different schools showing teenagers that they can continue playing music for fun when they are older regardless of what profession they choose.
