SOYBEAN RESEARCH PROGRAM (Smart Farm Trials): After successfully completing the 2021 and 2022 trials Exaltar International paused the trials in 2023 because the weather conditions were not favourable. Exaltar International agreed with the University of Illinois to conduct new trials in 2024 but they had to be suspended due to unusually heavy rain in the area. Exaltar International did however grow soybeans and has now been able to identify and segregate 4 different soybean varieties that adapt well to local conditions in Guatemala.
