East meets west children’s foundation (emw) assists children with medical needs in homes run by the indian society for sponsorship and adoption (issa) with whom emw has an agency agreement. Emw’s selection committee chooses children from a list of needy children which is provided by issa. Emw provides financial aid for the chosen children. Emw also provides funding to the barya andulia creche (located in kolkata west bengal india) run by issa to provide nourishment daycare and basic medical/educational programmes for children of the working poor.
