In its own words
The choir operated a normal season in 2023/24 under the same Music Director. The season included a return to singing workshop in Aug 2023 weekly rehearsals from Sept 2023 to May 2024 and the Dec 2023 and May 2024 concerts. The spring concert was a Durham Region premiere of 'Considering Matthew Shepard' a contemporary oratorio that tells the life story of a young gay man in Laramie Wyoming who is eventually killed in a form of hate crime. Our Christmas concert included community outreach in the form of a food drive for Feed the Need Durham.
