Disabled peoples' international (hereinafter 'dpi) is registered without share capital under the canada corporations act. Dpi or the organization was established in 1981 and is a registered charity under the income tax act of canada. Dpi is a grassroots network of national organizations or assemblies of disabled people established to promote the human rights of disabled people through full participation equalization of opportunity and development.
