The foundation’s main objective is to assist local health professionals in offering the highest level of patient care possible. Funds are raised for the wakefield memorial hospital which is a modern community-based hospital providing an emergency room hospitalization diagnostic and outpatient services. Funds are also raised to support the local clsc which provides support to those losing their independence prenatal care for young mothers at risk vaccinations mental health support and ambulatory care.
