In its own words
The society operates to provide social and emotional support for older adults and caregivers of older adults. Currently programs include intergenerational events where youth from our local schools can spend time with the elderly sharing stories making crafts or playing games and a seperate program for the youth to do coooking classes with the elderly. The society also provides exercises for the elder themed-table lunches and seniors cafe time to encourage the elderly to get out of their houses and meet other elderly people to combat loneleness.
