The community laundry co-operative provided low cost selfe serve laundry facilities for low income individuals and families. In addition counselling and referrals were provided to people to help them access services and become productive participants in the community. The co-op also operated a social enterprise wash and fold laundry service which taught employment skills and provided members with opportunities to gain work experience and supplement their income in a supportive mentoring environment.
