In its own words
To build the leadership capacity of young people in elementary schools. Community builders carry out various programs to develop a sense of belonging for each young person in school including those at risk. In keeping with our mandate there has been an increased focus in our ongoing programs on; - fostering peer support among youth through videos and other initiatives - helping youth learn about the racism including towards first nations people the impact of residential schools and taking action towards truth and reconciliation.
