The colony of avalon foundation actively supports the conservation and archaeological site at fairyland newfoundland of the 1621 colony or avalon. We do this by providing stable employment to over a dozen local staff as well as multiple student in various levels of study our collections hold over 2 million artifact held in trust to be conserved for future use . Our archaeological team dedicates 9 weeks during the summer to the excavation and proper identification of the colony of avalon’s site artifacts and features.
