Held meetings respecting the theory and practice of horticulture. The Club purchased and planted trees shrubs and flowers on public grounds (the Town's Arboretum) and privately owned community service agencies. We promoted community gardening and outdoor beautification at numberous community service agencies in particular youth shelters (Barbara Weider House) domestic violence shelters (My Friend's Place) adult day programs (Breaking Down Barriers) and the OPP's memorial gardens.
