The coalition builds awareness about the importance of music education. We celebrate the power of music for young canadians and in our canadian culture. The coalition supports teachers by providing resources and tools and curriculum guidelines. On the first monday of may each year the coalition coordinates a simultaneous performance of music-makers across the country called music monday.
