Yrcas is an agency mandated by the province of ontario to ensure protection of children from abuse abandonment and neglect in the york region. It provides protection to children by assisting families in ensuring children's safety in their homes or at foster homes or outside private institutions or adoption. Staff answers inquiries and investigate allegations of abuse and neglect of children as required by law.
