The chester playhouse society operates the chester playhouse as a venue that makes world-class performing arts events accessible to a broad rural community in the municipality of the district of chester. They support community outreach by partnering with local groups including the chester drama society. The playhouse also runs theater programs for youth through the summer and fall months and sponsor other community groups in various way to support benefits and fundraisers
