The chemainus health care auxiliary raises money to promote the welfare of patients of the chemainus health care center to assist other health care organizations and health - related facilities who may aid residents of the chemainus area. And to administer assistance to youth volunteers and provide bursaries to graduating students of the chemainus area as determined by the members.
