In its own words

Cetus operates two primary programs; straitwatch & the robson bight warden program. Straitwatch operates primarily in the waters of the salish sea in the critical habitat of bc’s resident killer whales. The program educates boaters about marine mammals at risk and mitigates impacts of vessels on marine mammals. The robson bight warden program provides vessel & whale monitoring and engages the public to reduce vessel disturbances in the area of the robson bight ecological reserve.
